Fire Mac on Monday and name Emmitt Smith interim coach for rest of the season....

If nothing else it would be fun to watch the season play out with Emmitt Smith calling the shots. He showed way more emotion then Mac did today. Not that this is likely but I think Emmitt has a lot of pull with the Cardinals brass (probably more pull then we know) and his note taking might just be for the brass to see as to what this team needs for next season- IMO

Normally I would say you're nuts.....but after watching the worst Card performance in 45 years I'd actually at this point applaud the move.....then tomorrow I may reconsider...but now it sounds great.

Why not ! Seriously I think Smith would be more prepared and he could be in the huddle calling the offensive plays. Maybe that way we would not burn all of our time outs in the 1st Quarter.

My question for everyone is what do we do all week to prepare for games ?? Something has to give at this point and a change of coach at midseason sounds like a plan right now !

Today's was the worst? But there's so many to choose from! But here's the good news. We're 2-2 in our "new season" and 0-2 after all the re-signings.

Best idea I've heard in a month. Emmitt Smith for HC. I'd buy that in a heartbeat. The other thing we need is Vito as the enforcer. You screw up a play, he breaks your finger or some other non-essential bone. If we're gonna have injuries, we might as well make em worth while.

They scout the other team via Madden. It would work better but unfortunately Bidwill wouldn't buy 2004 so they are still using 2003 to game plan. Poor Mac doesn't even realise that Shipp is an 82 instead of a 60.

The announcers were talking about Emmitt being on the sidelines and writing down all the plays and results. They said that when patterns develop or when something interesting is found, Emmitt tells the coaches about it.

Um, shouldn't the coaches be paying attention to that stuff?

After hearing those comments, I actually said out loud "Hell, then make Emmitt the coach." So, Tim, I guess I am as crazy as you are ... or perhaps so discouraged that ANYTHING looks good right now other than the current coaching staff on this team.
