Make our OC the head coach because McCoy has experience and let Leftwich run his playbook... Holcomb can leave with his buddy because our LB coach has time to run the defense since we have no LBs for him to coach :)

NO Way Promote the biggest Idiot on the staff? Fire McCoy and let Leftwhich take over. Rack up the Ls.

Fire Keim and Wilks

Hire a new GM to rebuild with all the Cap space and #1 overall pick and high picks from draft

Yes, because I am talking about now and then can McCoy after the season. This is an extreme temporary approach which makes sense... plus it seems Wilks was the one which called those moronic runs sniffing into sure field goal range

Wilks gets the rest of the season to figure it out. McCoy needs to go. Keim gets one more season to restock the shelves.

You’re not firing two guys with brand new contracts, and in that case, you’ll likely see the coach canned.

I think Keim might get more than that if Rosen works out

Wilks will not be fired during the season. McCoy is a different story. Keim...who knows.

Yep, no way they fire Wilks this year even though they may want to and realize he was a giant mistake. They will give him a short leash next year, and if we start next season terribly, he will get canned. Keim isn't going anywhere, but he's the reason the team is in the spot we are currently in, the worst football team in the league.

Keim sold out the last three years to make it to the Super Bowl w/ Carson and BA. Keim had his own version of, “no risk it, no biscuit.”

I knew this was going to happen, which is why I’m not terribly upset over things like the lack of talent at WR. We have so much cap space and a QBoF in place. Obviously, the current coaching staff leaves much to be desired, but after this year, I could see Bidwill cleaning out the coaching staff.

This was my opinion 2 weeks ago, Bidwill has more patience than most and I figured Wilks would stick around for at least half of 2019 if not all. After this week, I'm not sure. He has to go at the end of the year, just has to. I'm not usually one to blame coaches but he has been abysmal.

Hes nit going anywhere this year. Cant fire in season, disfunctional franchises do that and the Cardinals are actually not one of those anymore...

Plus, although the defense hasnt been great it generally isnt the most glaring problem.

Mccoy however could get canned here shortly...

Somers pretty sure wilks and keim will keep their jobs
He knows how this organization operate
keim just got extension and wilks wont be canned after 1 year, but at the end of the day its just a money decision
I was optimistic about bidwill and his willing to change the face of this franchise but im not sure anymore

Bringing this baby back up. Should have over 500 replies cause the man is horrible. I would take anyone on the staff including McCoy. Wilks is public enemy number one. Get this clown away from my team.

Steve Wilks is a leader of men. He leads them to the abyss, but he is a leader.

Is it just me or does Steve Wilks basically say the same thing in every press conference: "We need to execute better" or words to that affect. It's never the play calling or the scheme. The reason we suck is that our players aren't making plays, missing tackles, etc. I've never heard him say that they had the wrong call or he should have taken a time out or whatever.

Still pro-Wilks but definitely question the offensive decision making (OC, lack of WR, etc) LB quality heading into year knowing what he needs for system, and of course the losing. His roster is awful and the OC is historically bad.

I still believe he is the leader we were looking for and I am expecting improvement.

I don’t see Bidwill pulling the plug on Wilks after only 1 year. I’d say McCoy is at risk. Can Wilks grow into the job? I’m unsure. It’s always tough going with someone with little head coaching experience. Wilks’ only tenure was with Savanah State, ending with a 5-6 year. Most underestimate how hard it is to keep all those plates spinning. It is normally more than a 1 year adjustment. McCoy has done this job before. He has no excuse.

Grew up around St. Louis area, so I've been a big red and baseball cardinals fan entire life.

Same thing was said the last couple of years about Matheny. He is a great leader but the team just kept getting worse every year. Hope Bidwill doesn't take as long to fire Wilkes as DeWitt did to fire Matheny.

Of the last three losses, there have been critical points in each game where he made some interesting decisions:

1. Vs Bears, the 3rd and 2 with DJ out of the game
2. Vs Sea, where he settles for a 47 yd FG, where even if good would have left Russel Wilson with 1:50 to tie

and now, two curious decisions vs the Vikings:

1. the 4th and 2 in the first half: Fitz wasn't in the game for the play. What? Wouldn't Fitz being in the game require two DBs to move outside the box?

2. early 4th quarter, down by 17. Cards have 4th-2 at the Minnesota 30. You need three scores no matter what -- and he passes on the same 47 yard FG (indoors) that he played for vs SEA. Of course, later the Cards score a TD -- that could have made the game a one score game.

The second decision yesterday wasn't as egregious as the others -- but given the team hadn't converted a 3rd down all day -- my thought was the FG was a far better bet.

This terrible roster went 8-8 last year with Blaine Gabbert. We are not world beaters, but this roster has enough good players to be competitive and we are not.

Wilks is trash.

I don't scrutinize these games, etc. like many on here do, but, I think I do see some changes being made. So, maybe the coaches are trying to change things up? And learning, maybe getting better?

Looking at the players charts, it seems the more elite players are getting more plays than before? I. E., #31 is in for almost all of the plays, instead of the backup being in there.

They did change qb's earlier. A lot more down field passing (I think, but could be wrong), but, I guess there is still a lot of predictability. I think they are slowly changing, for the better.

It doesn't matter what they call or do, it's not going to be 100% successful; and therefore, people are going to point out the mistakes. The last three games have been competitive (imo), and, as people have pointed out on here, two or three plays might have made a difference between winning and losing.

I just don't get the "HATE" and name calling shown by people on this board towards people they disagree with.
