Really?! An $11M cap number (4th among WRs) for a possession receiver is a lot of scratch. Essentially, Larry Fitzgerald is the league's highest-paid tight end.

Why do you do this?? Why bring up his cap hit?? We all know - you in particular, that the Cards were stuck with a massive cap hit no matter what they did with Larry... It is what it is. IMHO, Keim has done about all he could to make the cap situation as tolerable as possible. Move on man...

I don't know. I think that -- from a football-only perspective -- the Cards should've released him. You hate to treat Larry Fitzgerald with the same attitude that you've treated Larry Fitzgerald and Lyle Sendlein, but I think the Cards are probably better off without Larry Fitzgerald but with $11M in cap space in 2016 than they are with him but cap hangovers 50% greater than the player's actual value for the next three years.

When Larry catches more then a few TD in this years playoffs, we will forget the cap hit.

That I do... But not so sure Fitz will be healthy come that time or catching multiple TDs I just don't believe he had it in him anymore especially after the long seasons grind...

If we make the post season and Fitz is starting, he will be a factor...
