I believe having signed Adrian Peterson and Carson Palmer for next year is what helped this happen

Has Palmer actually confirmed his plans to play next year? All the guessing from the "experts" has been consistently suggesting he's done...

That has to be part of it!

So now I'm assuming Carson is going to fulfill his last year of his deal next year! Larry surrrrrre wants to keep trying to get a ring, though I don't think it will happen, but good for him!

2018 has to be the last hurrah for the quadruplets in 11, 3, 23 & BA, no doubt! Wow I'm stunned.

Guess they need to take off his a Football Life off the TV now lol

Palmer - the guy that is trying to heal faster so he can play one or two meaningless games at the end of the season?

Yeah...I think he wants to go out with a bang, not IR his last year. Mayfield can back him up next year though.

Makes sense... but I won't buy it until I hear from Carson that he's in.
Don't discount all the injuries as well. I think they don't feel they were given a fair shot. Right or wrong I think that's a factor as well.

Oh, I 100% believe that is a factor. But I have heard that Carson's wife didn't want him to play this season. He very likely has some selling to do with her before he commits to 2018...

Why? I’d rather have a rookie QB learning from CP for a year or until an injury.
Those days are over. Most of these rookie qb’s should NFL ready. If we draft a qb with our first pick, he better be ready to go after training camp.

Tell that to Rodgers/Brady arguably the 2 best in the league! If you have CP you still get a QB to groom in the offense for a year.

What?? It works for some (Wentz), Goff benefited from sitting.
