Fitz Jr. is one great guy. Fitz Sr. is a moron. His reputation around Minnesota was well deserved. Just an over rated reporter for a rag wannabe newspaper.

He’s obnoxious and loud. Which, in this case, works in our favor. He will help get McCoy fired

I have never liked Larry Fitzgerald Senior’s criticism of the franchise (or Larry’s brother for that manner) but I am so glad to have them now. They are going to bring down wild heat on the staff

I have met the man, and he is paid to write for the Minnesota newspaper. I'll bet he'll be selling a few tomorrow with his column.

There are clear gaps in the personnel, but despite some massive coaching gaffes and cowardly play calling we've had a chance to win most of our games and absolutely should have won the Seahawk game and probably the Bears game too. The 4th quarter mistakes of clock management and gutless play calls cost us those games far more than the quality of the players.

Not saying Kiem shouldn't get axed, he should, but McCoy is patently terrible and while I think the defense is playing decently well, the pathetic game and clock management is all on Wilks. Stuff like calling timeouts so we can PUNT in the first half of a game, then having a team run out the clock before kicking a game winner while we have ALL our timeouts... those are idiotic game management mistakes that a child playing Madden wouldn't make.

Combine that with the cowardly decision to PUNT with 4 minutes left and down 10 (after we ran the ball on 3rd and a mile... who are we running the clock out on, ourselves?) and Wilks lines about how he wouldn't change anything in how he managed a few of these late game... it gives me little hope that Wilks is head coach material.

Steve Wilks might be a good coordinator and a nice guy, but I believe he has fallen victim to the Peter Principle, promoted to the level of his own incompetence.

Where they screwed up was in not drafting a QB in the 2017 draft. Once that happened, this outcome was inevetable.

The chain of events: No QB drafted in 2017 > No decent QB on roster after 2017 > No QB at all on roster after 2017 > No decent coach will go to a team with no QBs on roster > Cards have to settle for last of the last head coach and OC > Terrible 2018 season.

It could go no other way. The good news is that we appear to have a franchise QB. A good OC will want to come here now, possibly a new HC. Not to mention young WR and OL that want to play with Rosen as he develops.

This is a personnel problem first and formost.

It may be a personnel problem but I firmly believe it is a coaching problem. Vikings offense was only averaging about 60+ yrds a game but in this game they had almost 200. Cards offense has not scored in the 3rd qrtr in any game this year. They are predictable with the play calling. They are wasting DJ's talent with this terrible play calling. Furthermore I am not seeing any adjustments at half time on either side of the ball this year.

On a bright side Chandler Jones is playing lights out.

Rosen is going through rookie pains which I understand but he looks like a keeper who just needs to be developed more. Is McCoy the right person for this. I believe not.

With talk of the Giants, I still can't help but imagine what the Browns would look like with Barkley and Darnold/Rosen/Allen/Mayfield. Well, no I don't really need to imagine. The Browns are the Browns and they'd be misusing them or not at all. Chubb is a fine prospect but is chained to the bench in a meaningless season. Jarvis Landry is a pro-bowl receiver who was putting up big numbers with the freakin' Dolphins but his catch % has gone from almost 70% down to 47%.

Much like the Cardinals, the Browns have a solid to good defense being wasted by inept coaching and a terrible offense. I'm sorry but there is plenty of talent on both of those offenses and neither is coming close to getting it done. That's on coaching and scheme.
