Andre Roberts and Early Doucet scare no one.
they scare me... does that count?
Andre Roberts... i mean, could that be any more of a ghost if he tried?

Stafford yet to prove himself over course of year. Very streaky.
Wow. That escalated quickly to an argument that wasn't about football. I like Jason Campbell. Since you know that, you shouldn't take particular offense when I put them in the same tier of "Talented Quarterbacks with Question Marks." If you don't believe me about Matt Stafford, then listen to Football Outsiders:
Maybe there should be another tier in my QB ratings for "Promising but Unproven." That's where I'd put Cam Newton, Stafford, McCoy, and Bradford right now. Ryan Fitzpatrick might be at the top of the category. Tim Tebow would be at the bottom.
Yes. Mark Sanchez is a better QB than Matt Stafford is. And there's no question in my mind about it. Weren't you the one saying that you don't care about the stats, Matt Hasselback is a winner, and has been his entire career? That's Mark Sanchez. You don't go to consecutive AFC Championship games to open your career because you're a scrub, and you don't win two road playoff games each time.
I have Sanchez ahead of Matt Ryan on my QB rankings for this very reason.
I'm probably still over-enamored with Jason Campbell. If I were to put a bottom tier together called Eating Out of the Garbage, he'd be on top, above Kerry Collins, Chad Henne, Donovan McNabb, John Beck, Rex Grossman, and Tavaris Jackson.
that some streak.... 9 games.
and this is all coming from someone who really didn't think Stafford was all that special coming out of college. He started winning me over with that game he played his rookie year against Cleveland with a separated shoulder and led the game winning drive with no time left and has just gotten better and better every year since.

The Jets win despite their offense, not because of it. QB's in the NFL rank:
Rodgers
Brady
Brees
Rivers
P Manning
Vick
Romo
Roethlisberger
Eli Manning
Matt Ryan
Matt Stafford
Jay Cutler
Josh Freeman
Ryan Fitzpatrick
Sam Bradford
Joe Flacco
Mark Sanchez
Cam Newton
Matt Shaub
I like your style and the folks we will have coming back next year to add to who ever we add next year. Those that are giving up on Kolb right now...that's their thing. They expect stuff to happen right away, that aint gonna happen. I plan on giving Kolb a real look, while others complain about growing pains and call it bad QB play.I can only speak for myself here but this is how I feel FWIW.
While it might not be palatable right now, we can't give up on Kevin Kolb yet. Trying to accentuate the positives - Kolb will have a full and his first ever offseason as being the starter, we'll get Ryan Williams back, and we'll likely retool the offensive line (hoping Matt Kalil). That's quite a lot to add to the mix. Like I say, it's not palatable right here and now in October 2011, but our patience may be rewarded this time next year.
And if I'm prepared to offer that patience to the offense, I guess I'm obliged to do so to Wisenhunt as well. Again it may not be palatable, and maybe I'm too soft, but I think it's only fair. Sure I'm interested in someone like Jeff Fisher but I just feel I need to be fair and give a stay of execution.
I believe that was the infamous Graves trade for BJ & Pace
Against Cleveland. Three years ago, wow, he is great!
Streaky over course of games. Watch him blow opportunities in 4th yesterday. Watch him down three touchdowns to Minny and Dallas. Streaky.

So we're exactly where we were last year with Anderson, Hall, and Skelton.
Good trade! I look forward to seeing our 2012 second-round pick playing for the Philadelphia Eagles. It'll probably be the offensive lineman that we totally don't need.
