Signed with Jacksonville. He's a guy who i would hace like to see us bring in. I don't what i was thinking. The Cards don't sign guys on the first weekend. I mean it's the weekend,Graves would probably charge the Bidwill's OT. We'll just see what's left over next week :(.

Are you saying you wouldn't want him on the team right now? get real dude.

I wouldn't mind him as a nickleback but when he demoted last year all he did was mope. He played below average.

I'd rather take my chances on a rookie in the deepest CB class in a long time rather then have a guy we need to babysit

Sorry bro but we are in a position to win now. A rookie CB ceratinly won't help us at all until 2 years later maybe.

Maybe but a guy that wants to mope because he's not a starter wouldn't help us out much either.

A rookie CB would be fine if we don't ask him to start. Also I'm sure that there are other CBs available besides this guy. Remember we got Rod Hood late in the FA period last year

Anybody who kept Antonio Cromartie on the bench for 6 games can surely be on the Cards as a nickel back or possible starter.

Maybe before you pull up stats on me you should watch the Chargers play first. Some teams are infamous for letting WRs catch the short passes then they come up and make the stops IE..SD and TENN off the top of my head. Success rates don't mean squat with those kinda of teams.

Florence gave up 10.6 yards per catch. A first down every time. Yeah! I'm sure that was all by design. And, if that be the case: Why'd he lose his starting job?

That means he got burned a couple of times. So what the guy had a bad year. Does that mean he's always going to be like that? I'm sure if we sign him you'll be singing a different tune.

He's already signed.

Exactly, not by us. Even one of the best Cbs in the league (Al Harris) gave up 8.8 yards/pass. Are you saying you wouldn't have him either?

Let's not stray from the subject, which was D. Florence. He just got 10m guaranteed to play nickel for the Jags. I can think of better ways, and on more important needs, to spend that kind of money.

I agree with you 10 mil is too much for that guy though.

I don't get why people use that argument. I know what you're saying but if he's good enough to get 10 mill from a perrenial playoff contender, like Jax,then why would that be a bad deal for the Cards? I mean, didn't we give Holt 5 mill last year alone? I'm not saying there aren't bad contracts given out,see Justin Smith, but a deal like this seems about normal. I guess you can go by the teams making the deals. If it's a team like Jax, Philly,NE,Balt(teams with good FO's) it's pretty much,in my mind, a market level type deal. The ridiculous deals are usually when you have SF,Was, Oak, or Dall involved.
