Florida State men's basketball sophomore Taylor Bol Bowen has entered the transfer portal, ESPN's Jeff Borzello first reported on Wednesday.

Bol Bowen is the first player on the Seminoles roster to enter the portal after a 17-15 season. He became a full-time starter in his second year, averaging eight points a game and 5.2 rebounds in 29 games.

Bol Bowen, who is 6-foot-10, 195 pounds, and has a 7-foot-2 wing span, is known for his defensive presence. He is one of the ACC's top shot-blockers, averaging 1.5 blocks a game.

While the Vermont native plans on testing the portal, he is not ruling out returning to FSU under new head Luke Loucks.

With Bol Bowen departing, there is another hole to fill. Seniors Jamir Watkins and Bostyn Holt are also gone, as their eligibility has expired.

On the recruiting side, Loucks granted the release of 2025 signees Dwayne Wimbley and Nico Onyekwere from their national letter of intent.
