The first of what may be a flurry of moves has come with the Ohio State basketball roster. The Buckeyesfailed to make the NCAA Tournament and is excluded from of all the March Madness. The team also declined an invitation to play in the inaugural College Basketball Crown tournament hosted by Fox Sports.

As such, Ohio State's season -- and a disappointing one at that -- is over. Because of the inability to turn the corner this year and do much with a revamped roster, there almost has to be some turnover and retooling of the current one. You can almost bank on some guys entering the transfer portal, and that's exactly what we have with our first news of one of the holdovers announcing his intentions to enter the portal.

Austin Parks announced that he will be entering the transfer portal after spending two years with the program, and will begin a search to finish his final two years elsewhere.

From a roster standpoint, it's not a huge hit. Parks played a reserve roll for Ohio State, appearing in just 24 games in his two-year career in Columbus. He averaged 1.0 points, 0.8 rebounds, and just 6.0 minutes of game time ever since arriving from St. Mary's High School out of the prep ranks in 2023.

We'll continue to keep you up to date on any further movement we see with the OSU basketball program as we journey through the offseason. As always, we wish Parks nothing but the best.
