Talk about a huge drop off.

Had he played at his 2015 level, he would have $20-$25 mil guaranteed by now. At this rate, he will likely get the vet minimum with some incentives.

Think twice before drafting a player with drinking problems. A drug that is too readily available and socially accepted.

At least he's off the books in AZ unlike Washington who after 3 years is still a rock in the show for the Cardinals

are we comparing a stellar linebacker with an avarage wr?
I dont understimate washington off field issues, but honestly a franchise has to consider more deeply the talent, and they can give him another chance, for floyd there were no reason to wait

I'm not a fan of Floyd, especially after the way he handled getting cut by the Cards. He didn't show much last year -- in every way -- but he's shown flashes over the years. If he ever got his head out of his asterisk, he could be a solid player.

If he were still on this team, would you say he's the worst of the receivers?

Floyd made some big time catches for us. Many more than the few he dropped. He was a phenomenal blocker and team first guy. That gets forgotten really quick over the one mistake he made off the field. Last season drove me to drink too. Granted, I was driven to drink, not driving post drinks. I honestly wish him the best and hope he crushes it with someone this year as long as they're not in our division.

Before his arrest, he was our #2 receiver for better or worse. We weren't going to pay him like a #2 receiver but I could easily see them taking a flier on him for a low offer. The years is what would matter since he isn't getting much anywhere.

Cardinals made him an offer...

Source?

If true, I had made mention about 6 weeks ago that I wouldn't be surprised if the Cards showed interest in him again based on his knowledge of the offense and rapport with his teammates.

It's the first I've heard a drop of interest
