Please do me a consideration, there is so much hate for these guys for some to pick on them because some delusional people think we have a salary cap to sign all Pro Bowlers (because we all know that a real number one has to play like Hall of Famer Fitz, and we all know the second corner has to shut down every pass when the QB stays the hell away from maybe the best corner this year in Peterson, and this is sarcasm for the dense) and though he has a few mental errors from time to time... watch some other games where a team's right tackle really does suck which does not show up if you look at the amount of times Carson has been sacked. Please people stop being drama queens in an attempt to look special when your team is freaking already in the playoffs with three games to go man!

But I do absolutely agree that the play of Nikolas and Butler remains to be questionable and open to discussion lol

Some people just have a hard time enjoying things, and need to put their inner coach on display. No matter what happens, they will find fault. The knee-jerk reactions on the game day thread are to the point where I won't even read it. It's a great way to set yourself up for win-win. If the Cards win, you are happy. If they lose, you get to say I told you so. Just ignore it, find the good threads, and enjoy this ride. Because this team is friggin awesome. Of course there are a couple of holes, but this is just so enjoyable.

I know the one Niklas play everyone remembers from last night's game is where he was in the same space as Fitz & disrupted Fitz's ability to catch the ball on 3rd & 16 or whatever it was. One of them obviously ran the wrong route & I'm guessing it was Niklas. Still, I remember multiple plays in the game where he had awesome blocks that sprung good runs or gave Palmer extra time. On one play, Massie blocked absolutely no one & stood there looking for someone to block (eventually double-teaming Larsen's guy) while Niklas took on Massie's guy all by himself & completely shut him down.

Let's face it, Niklas is here to block & any passes he catches are a bonus. He does have 2 TDs on the year.

Even with Jermaine Gresham inactive with an injury, Niklas only played on 36% of the offensive snaps. I don't think that Niklas is here to ride pine, or that the Cardinals selected him in the 2nd round to lose reps to an undrafted free agent Darren Fells.

Darren Fells is pretty damn good right now and I do not care where he was not selected opposed to what Nikolas has to offer presently lol

In a way we are all being conditioned by BA in the way we look at the games---we sure are glad to win, but we recognize the mistakes. But---we should learn from BA himself---just because the players make mistakes, he maintains his faith in them, just as he did when CJ fumbled twice and BA stayed with him. This is a cue that we can also embrace, rather than resorting to dumping on the players. What we are seeing is a very high level of effort and commitment---from virtually all of these players, every coach on the staff and from the front office. And when teams are super aggressive the way the Cardinals are, they are bound to make some mistakes. It's part of the territory and it's part of growing as a team.

My opinion of the three:

Powers - Let's just say he's been adequate this year (not impressive, not terrible) but he will most likely get an offer that ARZ may not be able / willing to match so ARZ may look to the draft to get a replacement. He is replaceable.

Massie - He is starting because there is no one on the roster that can take his spot from him (talking about OT's other than Veldheer). This is a contract year for him and he hasn't proven he's a lock to return, plus his DUI arrest before last year's SB didn't do him any favors.

Floyd - He is the only one of the three I would be trying to bring back. He is the big outside receiver that complements Fitz & Brown perfectly and he has really come on the last couple of weeks. His option was picked up so he will back next year.

I love watching Fells catch a ball! It's like watching a much slower version of the Nigerian Nightmare, guys just bounce of him, then wind up hanging on for dear life till 2-3 other people get there to help.

I don't think Niklas or Fitz could even catch that ball Palmer threw. It was to high for Niklas and it was to far out for Fitz(he even dove for it and still couldn't haul it in).

Fitz almost had the catch, and that was after Niklas tipped it. If Niklas doesn't tip it, it's definitely a catch--unless Fitz drops it, which is unlikely.

Probably, but Fells has really soft hands, and, excellent body control for being such a big man. He might be the biggest surprise this year in terms of players who have exceeded expectations.

Nicklas has under-achieved, sure. But, Fells is setting bar for playing time pretty high.

I remember on the replay looking for it being tipped by niklas but from what I could see, he didn't touch it

This is what I remember from watching the game live. They showed a replay & I didn't see Niklas touching the ball either. It was closer to Fitz from what I saw but not close enough for him to catch it.

It bounced off both of his hands, and it's Fitz. Not sure why folks are saying it wasn't close enough for him to catch. I watched the replay and saw the tip, saw the ball move ever so slightly before it got to Fitz

I saw the tip as well...but did not think Fitz would have caught it either way....would have been a three finger tip miracle catch.
