Nobody cares but me, however the info is relevant to other schools' recruiting classes:
Notre Dame has lost out on all their last few offers out there, meaning their recruiting class will total 22, if nobody else defects late. They already had 2 top defensive line defections last month, again leaving the overall team short on dlinemen (a chronic problem.)
Weis had hoped to add 3 to 5 more players to the class, still trying to catch up and make up for Tyrone Willingham's woeful and small recruiting classes.
If nobody else defects, the 2008 class will be a good one and well-balanced, with only the goal of overloading on dlinemen, to make up for past shortages, unfulfilled. At worst, still a top 5 class in most rankings.
Anybody have PAC 10 updates? Besides ASU, of course. I've been closely following the Devils' very nice return to snaring top talent.
I mean USC, UCLA, Cal and UA. Don't really care about the rest.
