Yeah that clipping non-call on Rossum's TD really went our way. It was so blatant, I was absolutely sure they were going to call it...

yeah, i saw that one and started yelling. i'm not saying they ALL went our way, but there were a lot of times i was chuckling about us getting the types of calls we're usually screaming bloody murder about on Monday mornings. i think the poor calls favored us for a change. which is what is supposed to happen. for once, the better team getting the benefit of the doubt was the friggin' cardinals! awesome. i could get used to that.

I am not sure on that one

the one that really got me was the PI on Boldin in the second half

instead of first and 10 at the 49er 11 yard line --- its second and 23 that led to an eventual punt

the ESPN coverage today noted all the penalties and called that one a bad call, and Peter King quoted a source in the know as that being a call that was a bad one

We out-gained them in yardage. Out-scored them. Had the same number of penalties and sacks but won the turnover battle 3-0. They dominated special teams.

End result. Nobody gave us anything. Trailing most of the game, we overcame our own stupidities and took the win.

This is the kind of game to be proud of as a Cardinal fan. There will never be a perfectly played game and in this case, the Cardinals overcame a wide variety of problems to win the game. Overcoming and persevering are things that will make the team grow. It's easy to focus on the 49ers' record but this game had many elements of a playoff game and the team came out on top.

This was a must win game for the Cardinals, the stadium was electric and full of expectations and the 49ers were riding the emotional high that a new coach can bring not to mention having nothing to lose and being in a position to play spoiler.

They get punched in the mouth on the first play of the game and repeatedly have big plays taken away from them. I really don't remember a game where so many TD's and big plays were taken away from a team and they still came from behind and won. To persevere through so many emotional high's and low's speaks volumes about the mental toughness of this team and with each win, they gain more confidence and experience.
