TA McClendon is going pro. When healthy he was tough to stop.

I saw him play once and liked him. He always seems to be injured though.

When healthy is a big question for a running back. If a back can't stay healthy in college then I seriously question his ability to handle 350-400 carries over a 16 game regular season in the pros. We need a guy we can count on each week.

I agree. That's why it kind of surprised me that he was forgoing his senior season.

Who knows why he's going pro now - could be trouble with grades, home/family financial pressure, whatever.

I just wouldn't invest a first day pick on him.

He's probably going pro now because of his injuries. If he doesn't think he can last another season, he needs to get his payday while he can.

I saw the was turning pro also and thought he'd be a good pickup. You guys are right though the question is can he stay healthy.I think he's been hurt every year in college. As a freshman, him and Maurice were the best backs.

The Cards are going to get their pick between Ronnie Brown and Carnell "Cadilliac" Williams. They can't go wrong, as long as they don't take Cedric Benson.
