For all you WoWers .....how bout WAR?

warhammer online? all pvp all the time...im loving the sound of this game also supposedly its not going to be so gear dependant for all us non "spend three hours in an instance and come out with nothing" players.

No you knucklehead! That's World of Warcraft 1-3. Warhammer is a table-top game using minitures.

Warhammer Online is like WoW, it's an MMO.

basically its like wow but pvp is everywhere. they pride themselves on non instanced pvp, in the world, at all times. also some crappy ass rogue in teir 5 isnt going to beat you based off his gear that he spent 90 hours getting. skill>gear in the W.A.R universe which makes us casual no instance gamers happy.

As for Warhammer? I always wanted to play the tabletop game, but I can't find anyone to play with. I'd also like to play the online game and hope it can rival WoW (competition is good).

WOW has had so much time to be polished. It is a pretty damned good game, just got boring. I doubt WAR will be nearly as clean as WOW was when WOW was released. WAR looks better in my opinion, but I have a feeling lots of people will bash it because they have been spoiled by WOW. The reason you couldn't find anyone to play the tabletop game with you is because you're a nerd, and only nerds play tabletop games. Unless of course its Candyland.

been waiting for WAR to come out also. looked like they just pushed the release back to Q2 of 08 though. WOW only held my interest until the daily raiding just got too brutal. repair costs were insane. my guild had cleared up to the four horsemen in AQ but AQ just seemed to suck to me. BWL was alot of fun and so was MC the first few times.

EQ is still the best mmorpg to date.
