That depends where you live. If you live out in a rural area yes. It would drop someone like a fly. The 7.62x39 cartridge is a great man stopper. They dont call AK's "Choppers" for nothing. They will tear your arm off if you are hit.

Now if you live in an apartment or patio home in the city, then no. This bullet would go through the intruder killing him, then through the wall, then through the neighbors wall into their house and into their bedroom/livingroom. I have actually seen this done before when a friend of mine had an accidental discharge while thinking his gun was unloaded. It went through his house wall, through the brick wall, through the neighbors house wall and into the neighbors couch. So if you get ANYTHING from this long rant post is always follow the 1. gun rule which is always consider and treat every gun like it is loaded. and 2. Buy Ken's AK before I do and my wife kicks my ass for getting another AK LOL
