How can anyone watch that 11th inning of the Giants game and think that Bob Brenly is a remotely competent manager?

Wow, you've just passed me by in advocating that it's time for Bob Brenly to move on . . . to the American League, where his Managing style belongs!

With more veterans getting closer to ending their tenure, and more BabyBacks moving up to the D'backs, Tucson manager Al Pedrique (just named a Phoenix coach for the rest of the season) seems like a logical choice to take us forward as Manager.

Especially with the reputation he's earned as trainer/developer of young players and communicator.

That's the "plus" side. On the "minus" side, it's simply too late in the season for Bob Brenly to be experimenting with his lineups.

Like Billy Martin so many times before him, his best year was his first year!
