from 6am to 10am tomorrow morning Mcdonalds is giving out free samples of food. You dont know what you will get. You order the free sample and you get what you get. Saw the sign today.

A McDonalds near me does this every Sunday morning.

Free Roast Burger from Arby's if you buy a drink, good till 3/20

http://www.arbys.com/pepsixtras/?sssdmh=dm24.153625

I have no clue what a roast burger is but free is free

Thanks. I got my free roast burger (total cost was $4.09 because I added potato cakes with the drink). I'm not a big fan of Arby's, but it was pretty good. It's just an Arby's roast beef sandwich with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, and mustard. The meat is slightly grilled as well.

A side note on Arby's: I actually swore I would never eat Arby's again after a particular bad sandwich, but I couldn't pass up free. I like the Arby's concept and would eat their more often if they would get some quality roast beef instead of the overcooked, artificially colored meat they try to pass as roast beef.

We do need a poll. I say it's 1/2 price.

It can't be half price because you are still forking over the same out of pocket loss in exchange for the product.

You are getting enhanced value for your money but it costs the same whether you eat 1 or 2 sandwiches. Therefore "2 for 1" is the most appropriate response.

DCR, does 2 for 1 count as free?

It is a really tough question. I don't quite think it is free. You are paying for something. It is only 50% off if you only have to buy one. (like going to Fry's and getting milk for 2/$4 and only buying 1 for $2)

Agree. Seems like an okay deal though

Not so fast kimosabe. In a sense it is most certainly free. If you'd gone there before the promo then you would have only gotten 1 tasty torpedo. But today you get blasted with 2 of them for the same price. So yeah, for a limited time you really do get something for free. I'm really torn on this one. This is quickly becoming one of the most complex questions of the 21st century.

I don’t know…. Here are a couple of definitions of free:

A) having no obligations or commitments
B) not costing or charging anything

I would have to classify it as a discount myself

When the D'backs score 6 runs Taco Bell is giving away 3 free tacos the next day between 4 and 6 pm. Arizona locations only, obviously

They scored 6 runs tonight.....

Don't you have to have your ticket from the game? It's not for everyone, is it?
