I think they may employ Benjamin as a 4th receiver - In addition to RB, I'm picturing His role as similar to Isabella's: finding open areas of territory and turning short receptions into home runs.

One's a WR/the other's a RB; but they'd have similar roles.

I've watched a lot of Benjamin, and in no way could I ever see this happening. Hes a decent pass catcher, but in no way is he a great receiver. Hes more of a good safety valve than a weapon in the passing game.

That's wildly optimistic. Even after adding Hopkins, I think we have a severe lack of depth, although I'm good with our starters now. I don't have a ton of optimism that the players we drafter are going to come through. Still, you can't be perfect everywhere, and the team needs to see if any of them can develop. I'm good with the draft not including a WR, and ready to see who, if anyone, steps up. I usually hate it when people say this, but there's always next year's draft if no one does.

Really? Who do you think are the best WR rooms in the league? Then lets have a look what their depth looks like.

Let's take the Falcons. Often listed as the best.

Your top 2 are Julio and Ridley.

WR3 is Gage. Yuk

Then Treadwell, Zacchaeus, Blake. Not pretty.

Maybe the Browns?

OBJ and Landry
Then Ratley as WR3

Then Higgins, Peoples-Jones, Hodge

Nothing wrong with our depth. Three young kids that have very different skill sets that have a lot of upside.

I'd take our WR4 through WR6 over either of theirs.

Hang on--I thought you were saying it was one of the best position rooms on the team. You think we have one of the best WR rooms in the LEAGUE? In that case, I don't know what to tell you. Wildly optimistic is an understatement. We've got a top receiving, and...a future pro bowler at the end of his career. After that, we're bang average to below average.

This has been the story every offseason every year of Reddick’s career. If you’re still believing it, you’re the sucker.
Grain of salt, but as we have both discussed previously, Reddick's best use if doing a variety of things. The addition of a player like Simmons could, potentially, enable Reddick to be used more to his abilities. I'm not sure if he can handle it mentally, but it might be his last, best chance to make an impact.
