With the beating DJ takes it’s imperative to get a backup that could play multiple downs in a row if needed.

I agree we need a guy who can take some of the load off of DJ. I like Kerryon Johnson out of Auburn if he sneaks into the 3rd round.

I like selecting Darrel Williams out of LSU as a late round selection. He's a very talented back who never got a chance because the guys on his depth chart where amazing backs and he was on the short end of the rotation stick... maybe take him as a priority free agent

Last year it was plainly obvious that the Cardinals didn't have good depth after DJ went down. I think that the team needs to invest around a 4th rounder in a good young RB. For some reason, the team usually doesn't even having a promising UDFA at RB, while other teams seem to have 3-4 good RBs on the roster.
