whiz seems to be very proud and very stubborn
if he could somehow make this reclamation project work then that would really feed his ego, and maybe it should if he can make this sows ear into a silk purse by turning andersons career around
then he's a quarterback/coaching guru

He just signed that big extension, he isn't going anywhere. I really think Wiz is going to ride with DA to the very end. I'd be shocked to see Hall starting for any reason other than Anderson getting banged up. I think the only time you see Hall is in garbage time.

I thought garbage time was anytime DA is in the game?

Especially when the Cards are involved. But, are there rumblings in the locker room?? Wouldn't surprise me a bit. D.A. has given no reason for any of us: players, fans, coaches, and even media, to believe he can get the job done. But, I think Whiz' will be smart enough to realize this sooner rather than later. GO CARDS! :D

It is hard to throw laying on your back. It is also hard to run where there are no holes.

Forgot it is also hard for the QB to prevent the opposing team from scoring 41 points while sitting on the bench. We seem to like to blame everything on the QB. Our problems go much deeper than that.

Cant the QB solve that by making plays and staying on the field?

No, that is the fault of the defense, the offensive line, and the WRs for not catching balls ten feet over their head. If you are a Whisehunt apologist you blame anyone but his biggest blunder DA.

Ill make a bet on that.

Not much of a gamble on your part. If those of us that that believe DA is headed to the bench sometime this season are wrong, what's the likelihood that he will remain ambulatory through 16 games? As long as it's DA back there and as long as it's this O-Line protecting him, our opponents are going to keep coming for him. Sooner or later, one of these blitzes will put DA out of commission.

When you assemble an offensive line who's forte is run blocking and then try to run an offense that requires an offensive line who's forte is pass blocking. what do you expect will happen?

Top it off by trading away one of our best pass blockers and you have a perfect formula for failure. This is all on Whiz.

He is still trying to fit that square peg into a round hole and the damn thing just won't go in. Don't worry though he will keep trying to get it in, he may just need a bigger hammer. Don't worry though, his ego, opps I mean determination will see it though.

Didn't they report that Farve was retiring and then force us to watch a whole day of highlight loops of his career. They throw lots of stuff out there to see what sticks.

That they do. The problems on defense go back way before DA was on the roster.

The Cards replaced 6 starters trying to fix the problem. It hasn't worked so far and that is very disconcerting.

"Bring back Denny" he says. Well I'M not buying it.

The next thing you know the cat is wet, your daughter is pregnant and Denny turns out to be a crazy glue sniffer. I've seen it a hundred times before....

For me this season sucks bad because I'm having to take a hard look at things I thought about it and it's leadership and I don't like what I'm seeing.

That dosen't mean all hope is lost but to me it's going backwards, not forwards, and I'm not talking about the talent alone.

I've got to face facts that absent some unheard of good explanation, our FO and management decided to field a team with a QB I'm not fond of to say the least.

It's not that it's not Matt, it could be a lot of different people at QB and I'd be happy, but instead of any of those people and instead of at least the curiousity factor of Matt, I get to see a guy I don't want to see any more of ever.

Ever.

I really don't like bashing on the guy, it's not his fault, he's just trying to earn a living and frankly I'm done with this because past this it becomes rude to him and it's not personal, it's not his fault, he's just doing a job.

I wish him well and the team too but I'm not interested in watching this until and unless either a quantum leap occurs in someone's game or someone else occupies the spot worthy of my time.

Until then I got better things to do.

Okay, I'll buy from you. However, I still want a guarantee on the box.

I agree with you having better things to do. I havent seen the new Wall Street movie and my friend cant go on Saturdays so Sunday afternoon it is. Too bad I subscribed to Sunday Ticket even though I knew the Cards were a risk but I thought I would like to watch other teams if the Cards sucked with new QB. However the Cards have taken all desire from me to watch any kind of football, college included. I wonder if Oliver Stone modeled the greed part of Gordon Gecko on Bill Bidwill. Certainly not the competence of the character.
