Interesting numbers for the Suns.

I have harped on this since the summer.

We could have kept Kurt Thomas, kept our draft picks, still signed hill and skinner, and still made more money than the Spurs.

This is precisely why D'Antoni will not be fired this season regardless of where we finish in the playoffs. If we get to the second round Sarver will consider the season a financial success.

That is some fantastic reading. The extra info when clicking on team name is siiiick.

The Knicks are a sorry basketball team and business operation.

That about sums it up. What he said. The spurs won the championship and they have 40% of the operating income. The suns even beat the lakers in operating income. The fans keep coming back though, making their decision making(getting rid of KT, draft picks) look like financial genius.

Looking at reports like these makes me tear out my hair. This is why bankers shouldn't be in charge of sports teams, they only see $$ signs. Quit being cheap and buy a big guy!!

Not just a banker but an investment group managed by a banker.

Enjoy having a competitive team while you can. Things are going to get ugly in the next few years.
