This guy is next to nothing. Michael B, step up to the plate and get rid of him ASAP!
I must be the only one who thinks Graves is fine in the role he fills.
Pipe dream. WILL NEVER HAPPEN!
Cards' winning percentage with him in his role is wonderful. Not.I must be the only one who thinks Graves is fine in the role he fills.

I don't want to speak for 40yr fan but I would guess he is with you.
I am not in the RG MUST be fired camp but he isn't in the top ten of GM's IMWO.
Graves also sets the financial parameters for the roster which means if too expensive no go. See Karlos Dansby and others.Firing Graves will accomplish absolutely nothing. All he does is make out the contracts. For those who want a real GM (I'm in this camp, too) it requires an organizational change from the top. Until ownership decides to take personnel decisions away from the head coach, we're not going to see any changes in the way things are done here.

Not sure. Did we? Why not sign him sooner? What did they replace him with?Did we not offer to match Dansby's price and he went elsewhere anyway?

No our offer was less. Not by a ton but it was less.
This.and it came after YEARS of jerking him around. Gerald FREAKING Hayes got a contract extension before dansby did.
what happened with dansby last off-season didn't happen in a vacuum.

We have some weird mish mash of ideas floating out there that goes into some funky financial meat grinder then comes out as less than apealing stuff.
