who cares, wouldnt stop me.

It's probably pretty ignorant to think that there isn't a little more than a few players smoking the wacky weed. I would be more concerned that he was dumb enough to do it before the combine and got busted for it. I personally believe marijuana should be legal but the dude is a moron for smoking it before, the biggest tryout of his life.

NFLPA voted it in and needs to vote it out. Ricky Williams is prime example. These guys can chomp vicodin and etc but arent allowed to smoke a bowl after a game. Stupid. Ricky is one of the all time top rushers and left because of the pot rules. If wed let him smoke his pot he would have never left. its dumb.

At the same time, the rules are the rules and its not too smart to test postiive at the combine.

Wow, I disagree and really believe there is a significant difference between vicodin (a substance prescribed by a medical professional in a recommended dosage) and marijuana (a substance that is not prescribed by a medical professional in a recommended dosage). Both can be abused, but vicodin is much more regulated.

Vicodin - A substance regulated and approved by the federal government to line pockets of pharmasuetical companies that has a massive list of horrible side affects and is incredibly addictive. Also if too much is taken, deadly.

Marijuana - A substance the government refuses to acknowledge that has a very small amount of side affects and has 0 cases of death no matter how much you take. Not addictive.

Sure its regulated, who gives a ****? regulation doesnt mean it is safe, not addictive or a good thing.

I am for vicoden, it does great things. its also very dangerous and addictive. Lets not be dense sheeple.

"abusing" marijuana is an oxymoron in comparison to Vicodin. Marijuana is not dangerous enough to inherit regulation.

If you follow the law of the land just because they say you should, there is no point in talking to me about it. They also fill your kids with pink slime, allow massive antibiotics in your chicken and much much more. Follow the herd.

Working in a field in which I deal with individuals who are addicted to marijuana, I will say I see daily proof in contrast to your claims. However, this is not the forum in which I will or want to have that debate, so I will just say I really disagree with your view. In the end, pretty much anything in excess is not good for a person, legal or otherwise.

Try doing that with any doctor recommended substance.

To be fair, if you read something like A Few Seconds of Panic, but Stefan Fatsis (an excellent book whose finale is set at UofP), you'll see that in NFL lockerrooms, pain meds like Vicodin are handed out like tic tacs. Players wouldn't survive the day-to-day without them.

Which is why I can't place all of the blame on the players who get addicted to them. It is however, still contained in a measurable dosage. You can determine how much an individual has ingested with Vicodin easier than how much THC someone has inhaled by smoking a bowl.

Not disappointed. But after the Wendall Bryant fiasco and the fullback(?) who was arrested for running a distribution ring, I'm guessing that he's off our board altogether.

I have smoked my share of weed. It is not addictive physically. A weak minded person can be mentally addicted to a certain degree. It also can zap your ambition. Let's get high and lift some weights. (Puff) ahh. How about we lift weights later?

Bottom line pot is illegal. To posess it is illegal. To purchase it is illegal. For a guy in his position he is an idiot. Maybe he is one of the weak minded that couldn't layoff the **** when he really needed to.

BTW, I quit cold turkey around 10 years ago and never looked back.

That all depends on what state you live in medical marijuana is legal in a few states and is regulated. I'm quite confident in saying marijuana isn't any more dangerous or addictive then Vicodin or a lot of the so-called prescription drugs that has become big business and a major society abuse problem.

I don't care that he smokes pot. I care that he's dumb enough to do it before the combine and jeopardize his big payday.

It sure doesn't lead one to believe football is a priority in his life or at least it would lead some to believe he isn't ready or have what it takes to be a pro. I would think if you are serious about your career you would at least lay off the pipe long enough to get past the biggest interview in your life.

Yup he is a dummy, his state it may be legal in varying degrees though.

Loss of ambition is relative, John sperling the CEO of university of phoenix is a major pothead and id say he has a ton of ambition. Lazy people are lazy and pot will contribute. People with high motors and motivation are barely affected by the Ganja.

Weak minded people who get addicted to marijuana will get addicted to EVERYTHING they do.
