Former Georgia Bulldogs basketball guard Mari Jordan is back in the NCAA transfer portal. Jordan spent the 2024-2025 college basketball season with the Tulane Green Wave.
Jordan had a larger role with Tulane than he did at Georgia (he did not appear in any games for UGA in 2023-2024). Jordan redshirted at Georgia, so now he has three years of eligibility remaining.
Mari Jordan helped Tulane (19-14) have a solid season. Jordan played almost 20 minutes per game with Tulane. He averaged 7.0 points and 3.6 rebounds per game with the Green Wave.
Jordan played high school basketball for Norcross High School in Norcross, Georgia. Jordan is a former three-star recruit, but he is unranked as a transfer.
Georgia basketball and head coach Mike White are expected to be active in the transfer portal. UGA's starting point guard, Silas Demary Jr., has entered the transfer portal. Georgia is expected to lose several other key pieces this offseason.
