GREEN BAY - Former Green Bay Packers cornerback Eric Stokes will have one less problem to deal with at his new home.

The Packers' 2021 first-round pick signed a one-year, $4 million deal with the Las Vegas Raiders earlier this week. On Thursday, the Raiders introduced Stokes to the media. One reporter asked Stokes if the opportunity to live in Las Vegas influenced his decision.

"I ain't gonna lie, yeah," Stokes said. While he expressed gratitude for Green Bay, there was one thing in particular he was looking forward to.

"Green Bay's different, I love Green Bay," he said. "But after about 10 o'clock, there's nothing else to eat in Green Bay. So I'm really excited for the food options here. I can really show off my big back activities."

Two of Stokes' former Packers teammates confirmed the "big back activities." Cornerback Rasul Douglas, who played with the Packers from 2021 to 2023, reposted Stokes' interview on X (formerly known as Twitter), saying Stokes used to eat all the bread from chain steakhouse Texas Roadhouse. Douglas followed up with another post, explaining the eating habits of the Packers defensive backs.

Darnell Savage Jr., who played with the Packers from 2019 to 2023, confirmed these eating habits, which would also take place at Longhorn Steakhouse.

Mfs really used to go to Texas Roadhouse and eat all the bread then go to longhorn and get the salmon with spicy chicken bites with a strawberry lemonade . DB group was hell and all fat

The only Texas Roadhouse and Longhorn Steakhouse are in Ashwaubenon, both near Lambeau Field.

Stokes spent four seasons with the Packers, finishing his time in Green Bay, appearing in 45 games with 128 total tackles.
