Dumb, if he played for any other college we wouldn't give two craps about the dude.

Im not an ASU fan, and was a Cam skeptic -- I considered him a try hard, 100% effort player with limited skills

until you watch him play. He has great vision and other worldly balance. Under rated as a pass catcher.

I think the questions on how his game will translate to the NFL are legit. At worst, I think he is a demon ST player and the last RB on your roster who will relish blitz pick up

i saw something where they put the over/under in the 4th round, which feels right to me

If he can add returns to his game, I think Skat comps fairly well to Brian Mitchell. 3rd down, move the chains back who will break some tackles and get tough yards...and be a teams return demon. Also can be a spot starter. He has the ability to have a really long NFL career, if used properly.

The only way we consider drafting him is if we trade down from 16 and secure an additional 3rd round pick in the process. We need a speedy WR more than a RB. But it’s also true that this is a very good RB draft, so we may be forced to draft one.

If this was in the NFL it would have been about a 6 yard gain.

Of course, you are looking at only one play. He is good at catching the ball and has even played some quarterback at ASU.

The point is, he is versatile and has game speed. Check out the catch at about the 2:40 mark.

If Bill Bidwill was still alive and owned the team, we’d probably draft him in the first round.
Why do you think this would be the case? I don’t ever remember Bill Bidwill pushing a particular player for a given draft pick.

Which past picks are you thinking of?

Yeah Clyde Duncan was the one that came to mind. And the second round pick of UCLA kicker Joh n Lee a couple years later was also baffling, as was Pisczarkwitz.

You may be right but I’ll say this much about Skattebo…. there aren’t many CBs that would line up to take him one on one. He lowers his shoulders and hits like a truck while raising his thighs to apply the hit, has great vision, great balance and you can also say he pumps his teammates and his fans up. Sign me up!

Good stuff!

Do you have a clip where he totally contorts his lower body while in the air to jump over a defender almost in a backwards direction before hitting the ground running again? That is my favorite and didn't see it in your vid.

It's weird to say you are serious about a guy projected to go what Round 3? Soooo much can happen by that time in the draft.

This might be the video, but I have watched so many.
