I'm thinking that the rear-ending incident was perhaps intentional. IF, that is so, then wouldn't that pretty much establish criteria for 1st degree, regardless of other facts/coincidences?

I think the connection between Hayes and Ceravolo and the fact that Smith had just finished a dinner with Ceravolo, is just too much of a benign coincidence to be believed.
I would not at all be surprised if it's eventually proven that Hayes specifically targeted Smith for his friendship with Ceravolo... As incredibly STUPID as that may be...

I had a bad feeling yesterday when I saw the Badger speaking about this. I really really hope the kid never returns to that city or it might have bad consequences.

Are you shocked Smith had a gun in his car? I'm not. I believe in having a gun but when people have them outside of their homes the chances for something bad happening increases IMO.
