Paul Lovett, one of the screenwriters, is "related" to my dad by marriage. Her mom is the sister of my dad's wife. This is his first screenplay to be made into a major movie I was looking over some promo stuff for the film this weekend since we stayed overnight at my dad's sister in law's place after getting back from Baja.

So I'm looking forward to seeing this one too.

Looks stupid to me. Produced by same guy who did Constantine (and bragging about it) I do think Mark Wahlberg is a good actor. when he's not playing the typecast of a street thug.

o/t Donnie Wahlberg is an awesome actor (Band of Brothers) I wish he were in more.

I dont care if the guy from Constantine did it, John Singleton directed it and I think he is a bad ass director. I cant wait to see this one.

Shows what I know. Ebert and Roeper gave it two thumbs up. Anyone here see it yet?

I saw it Saturday night, and I thought it was pretty good. I mean, not the greatest movie ever, but entertaining and seemed to have some good plot twists to it, and I really had no idea where the movie was going.

I just watched it. I really liked it. A good hardcore action movie with an excellent plot. The acting was believable, including Wahlberg who was excellent as usual.
