They had a fellow from there headquarters talk about the team as far as who they may be targeting. He said that Green would like to make a big splash in FA and is targeting the following;

Maake Kemoeato
Randle El
Will Allen
Julian Peterson

He also mentioned a couple of offensive and defensive line guys that I can't recall. As far as the draft goes in the first round..It was his opinion that the team really wants White, But if AJ hawk or Young were to fall that would be the teams choice as well. BPA.

It was very encouraging the way he talked about some of the moves the team will try to make.

I could more then live with that FA and Draft. Depends on the couple of OL FA he talked about though.

If we are able to land Peterson, he and Dansby will create havoc!! The question will be whether or not he wants to go to a playoff team?

i like all of the fa targets except will allen. i can go on and on about jullian peterson and what an impact he will make for the cardinals. peterson and dansby on the outside will cause chaos for opposing offenses.

i don't like will allen because he has been injuried every season for the past 3-4 season. i didn't see the up side when he did play. maybe he the player that has something to proove.

i like randle el also. he a player that can instantly improve special teams and give the cardinals the the 3rd wideout they so badly need.

i don't know enough about kemoeato to comment on him.

as far as the draft, it depends who the cardinals get in fa for me to make up my mind.

I thought the team couldn’t mention any names yet? If they do wouldn’t be considered tampering. That is not a bad list but I would have to assume it is still just speculation at this point.

I too like Randle El, however I just can not see him signing with the Cards. He showed this year what he was capable of doing when playing on a regular basis. I can't see him signing with the Cards to be their Jake Reed when he could sign with the Bears or Eagles and be a primary target at WR.

No you are wrong, another person said that. Now if green came out and said that to a Newspaper Reporter or ESPN before 03 March deadline, THEN that would be consedered tampering as per the NFL and NFLPU.

Agree on Will Allen. The Giants would have signed him if he were "all that." Stone hands and he gets beat often.

I really do not see the Cards in bad need of a 3rd wideout. The guys we have at #3 are better than average and one could be a starter on some teams. We need OL and a RB in my opinion in the worst way. Having the worst running game in the NFL backs that up. Until we cure our running problems we are going no where. We already have one of the best passing attacks in the NFL.

You are still looking at it wrong. It isnt just a passing game pickup. In fact far from it.

It also has to do with El and the other Pitt WR being some of the best blocking WR's in the game today. It also has to do with Green liking the single wing(see Jeffs past posts about it.) It also has to do with trick plays, it also has to do with special teams, ect, ect, ect. Much more bang for the buck then just McCoy or BJ is it not.

He will also not make a lot in FA becuase of his recieving stats just are not up to par with a great contract, he will recieve David Givens money maybe a little more.

Also we could have a deal in place for BJ as we speak. Trades can be already done in principle just not anounced until March 3rd.

The fellow was Jay Glazer, whom I believe is NYC based (Post?) and pretty well-respected for his football savvy.

Everything Glazer says makes sense. To clarify his above comment regarding #10, he said that Green truly believes in the "best available player" philosophy, and (although he mentioned White over D Williams as a Cardinals RB preference), if Hawk or Young were to drop to us, we'd probably snap either one up.

I totally agree; it's painfully obvious El would be a monster signing for us and really open up our playbook and improve the team in many areas.

However, I don't see him being very enamored with coming here when he's going to get offers to be a #2 elsewhere.

I'd love to have him though, if he'd have us.

I dont think he would be coming here either, I also would rather spend money elsewhere but if we do sign him he would still be a very welcomed addition to the team.

.

That's a bit confusing to me, Allen has played all 16 games the last 2 seasons and has missed 8 total games in 5 years. Julian Peterson has missed 12 games in the last 2 years, was nowhere near 100% recovered when he played last year(admittedly changing to a 3-4 defense may have had somethign to do with it), and Peterson in his 6 year career has missed 17 games to injury. And you don't like Allen because of HIS injury history?

Are you sure you don't mean Will Peterson, Allen's teammate, who's missed 29 games in his 5 year career and played in only 2 last year?

The other players they mentioned were a Tackle from the Texans and a DT tackle from NY Giants, who most likely Resign. Maake Kemoeato DT from the Ravens I think, they made it sound like the Cards really, really wanted the guy

Here is a Link on the guy. Run Stuffing 350 ln DT, Nice!!!!

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

There is only Victor Riley and RFA - Seth Wand, and both are worse the Ross.

Unless they want Riley as a OG. Dude is strong and a pretty good run blocker but he cannot handle a speed rush to save his life.

I don't know - would he really be that great of an improvement considering the price tag? Redmon looked like a quality PR before the injury.

Yes, for versatility and blocking. One stroke you give a third real threat at WR, a backfield threat, a return man threat, a blocker, a trick play qb arm and intangibles.

But he won't come here when he'll be a 2 somewhere else.

That's big piece of pie for versatility.
