Either Jim Jackson or Barbosa by himself is worth more than Fred Jones.

I really don't want to get rid of Jim Jackson. I hope the Phoenix Suns keep him around. Barbosa? You are nuts if you wouldn't trade him in a heartbeat for Fred Jones.

At 2002 Chicago draft measurements Fred Jones measured 6'2 1/2" barefoot. He measured 6' 3 1/2" in shoes, but obviously he was wearing thinner shoes than everyone else because it is almost always a 1 1/2" difference. His wingspan was measured at 6'11" with a standing reach of 8'4". He weighed 218 pounds at the time.

He can play either guard position.

Freddie had a pretty darn good stretch immediately following the brawl last season . . . he put up up about 15 points a night filling in for the suspended players. He's a lot better than I think most of you are giving him credit for. He'd look great in a Suns uni, I just don't buy this trade. There's not even a blip about it around here.

this rumor is from the same guy that says cotton comes to him in a dream and tells him suns prophecys.

he creates one of these threads a week, and unfortunatly people still believe him.

his name on the azcentral board is "paul", he goes by the name "duneric" on the espn boards and ive even seen him a few times on this one.

he took it a step further by posting it on numerous boards, hence if you go to each of the boards they say, "i saw it on this board"....(azcentral,espn,asfn,phxsun.net,realgm)

i hope to god you arent talking about me.

We should NEVER, EVER take anything from the ESPN boards very seriously. I know you're a regular there, Josh, and I apologize, but that board is a complete mess.

I hope that if there is some truth to this rumor that either Foster or Harrison is included in the deal.

Depends on who starts the thread. I usually believe what gues like josh, sharkbite, azprepstars, and a few others say. The rule of thumb though is if you dont recognize the username, then the news is probably false.

thats probably a safe bet, like right now some guy is saying that the hawks signed zaza simply to trade to the suns instead of giving up a pick, which i dont even know if its possible, but the FIRST thing i do is head over here or "the other site" to see if anyone has caught wind of it, if not then most likely its false.

what's up Josh? You cannot sign a player from another team and trade him. That rumor was absolute crap, and frankly I would rather have the $4.9 million trade exception than ZaZa.

I totally agree Zaza was pretty hot back when she was on Green Acres but that was like 40 years ago.

jones is the classic tweener. too small for two, and not a pure point.

He is not. Actually I have never seen Jones play a PG, neither at Oregon, nor at the Pacers.

He is an undersized, very athletic slasher who plays like a true professional. He was a streaky shooter in NCAA but greatly improved in NBA.

After getting of Bell trading for Jones makes zero sense, IMO.
