just played a sound bite from Rosen and he said in close tonexact words:

“There was nine mistakes made out there today and a decade from now all of those people are gonna see what a big mistake they made. I’m going to make them pay”

“I was pissed sliding down to 10 and I knew I woukd have to fake a smile going up there”

Say what you will but I absolutely love the chip on his shoulder in the fire in his heart I hope he puts it in the right place and brings us the success we long for....

I hope we don’t look back on these and cringe, but this one was good. Lol.

Hopefully he always puts TEAM first. It'll help with the growth process in successes and in the event of some falling short.

But he's got a good head on his shoulders and a real good chance of success fairly quickly with this setup. Team and FO doing what it takes to hoist the Lombardi.

I really like this quote from the ESPN article below.

The last three sentences tells me a lot.
"I thought I should've been picked at 1, 2 or 3," Rosen said. "I dropped, and I was pissed. I was really, really angry. I wasn't really showing it. I was trying to keep calm, cool, composed. But I thought I was going to get picked, and I thought I was going to have to put on a face and try and fake happiness. But for some reason, right when I got that call, that's not what happened. I got really happy and really motivated.

Football is such a popular sport and helps define our culture for better or worse. I just cannot stand when you have these calculated jabs at guys for something outside actual character. Chris Carter and Stephen A. Smith have both attacked Josh Rosen for this comment but they are not really attacking the personal character of Josh Rosen but his ethnicity/social class (trust me, you do not get that passionate over football related commentary alone). Our National pastimes should bring us together as a people, and not be a platform for hidden agendas. Their comments show more about their personal character than anything Josh meant. If this comment is out of context for the football forum, I fully understand and mods then have every right to send it to Siberia. All I know is this... the Cardinals got a great potential QB in a masterful stroke of handling the draft, Ryan Shazier walking out was the most powerful thing ever televised on draft night (never thought I would share a tear with Steeler fans, but this is a part of football which transcends to something amazing), and seeing Lamar Jackson be a first rounder to finish the night (being equally as pissed as Rosen, stating he is going to win Super Bowls which I love to see in a competitive sport) made this a memorable experience

I have to say Bruce Arians prepared Cards fans to handle players and coaches that talk like him.
