Garcia had a few nice moments, but man that dude is a liability if he is starting more than a game or two.
I don't mind getting the room a little younger by making this switch from Garcia to Hernandez. I feel like Garcia is who he is and at least Hern is young enough to make you tell yourself the story that he might have more to offer.

The idea that Hernandez has no more ceiling to tap is hogwash. He has ability. Maybe Kugler can motivate him and coach him the right way. He was a fantastic RG prospect when Kugler coached him in college.

Garcia is a much more limited player.

O line performance, more than any other position, is directly effected by the players around you. And Hernandez was surrounded by rotating garbage for years. Now people can argue he was part of that garbage, and maybe they are right, but there is just as much chance, more so in fact considering his college performance, that he was negatively effected by a bad surrounding cast.

I look at it this way. At worse he's as good as Garcia, but with upside to be much better.

At worst, Hernandez has proven to be worse than Garcia.

Not like his ceiling was all that high anyway. Short arms, small hands, & whatever athletically. This is while playing against the New Mexico States & Florida Internationals of the world.
