Other teams to be very active in dropping or adding players but the Cardinals do not seem to be doing anything. Are they thinking "all the pieces are in place?" If so, I don't know what they are in place for.

Hawk is the only guy I would bring in, but we all know it won't happen...we're about to be in a lockout

Rod Graves needs lots of time to think about things.

If he's healthy, a guy I think would be a great fit is Kris Jenkins. We wouldn't have to rely on him as a starter and would be great in a rotation with Williams.

He's never healthy. He's played 7 games the last two seasons, and I think he went down for the year in the first dozen plays of 2010.

Thats what the Cards do.

You got that right. Never look for the Cards to be proactive in anything. We are not now and never have been trend setters. Being a family owned corporation we have little information on what goes on behind the family walls. The one thing you can usually count on is not over spending or taking a risk that might ultimately pay off like signing a big time QB. I know no other way to say it other than we have a history of being cheap. Our record over the past 60 years speaks volumes. Wish I could have been born a Bear Fan. I was born a Cardinal fan and a Cubs fan. That is sort of like having leprosy.
