Man, I’m bummed I no longer live in the area. Ziemba’s book on the Chicago Cards, which I was fortunate enough to stumble on to many years ago, is, I believe, the only volume-length history of the team’s years in the Windy City. IIRC, his dad even briefly played for the Cards.

Phx public library used to have this, knew i should have stole it. Just kidding, it is a great book. Checked the library website and the no longer have it, guess someone beat me to it.

Yikes! Doesn’t appear that there are any copies to be had for a reasonable price either. Perhaps even worse is that only one Valley library has a copy in its holdings (not surprisingly, it’s ASU).
