Saw on Twitter Josh Freeman is likely to be on the trading block. I've never seen him play and have no idea how he would fit in Arians' system, but would he be worth a look as a potential QBOF candidate? The perception I got from earlier in his career was that he was an up and comer.

I'd pull the trigger and make that trade.

He is only 25 years old.

I think the flak he is getting is a bit unjustified.

Who is Tampa Bay going to start in his place?

He's proving the last few weeks & probably before that, that he lacks the skills to be a leader as the QB & hasn't been elected a team captain as the QB of the Sucs...says a lot IMO.

Btw he hasn't played all that well either, other than about 3/4 of a season. But, hey were the Cardinals & traded for scrambled eggs Kolb too :D

It all comes down to cost. I wouldn't spend a high pick, but maybe a 6th would be worth it.

He's in a contract year, I believe. You can get him for Drew Stanton money in six months.

The only good news I see here is that Tampa is a mess and already a trainwreck for 2013. That means we have a better chance at a split of the next two games and extending hope we might have for a decent year.

Yup...with a couple breaks, we might even end up 3-2 after Carolina at home and really extend possible delusions of playoff games deep into November!

Wooooow nelly!

You mean the same Sucs & Panthers that generally beat the Big Red in recent times? The same Steve Smith who has 2tds & 150 yds receiving against us almost every game? :D

1 game at a time! Btw we play this team in Nawlins this weekend who's one of the greatest QBs ever too.

Was watching Espn First Take this morning. Rumor has it Greg Sciano is

a drill sargent and the players hate him. He is a college coach.

Let's just hope that they are coming apart at the seams on Sept. 29th.
