Friday is Cardinals day at work.

At work I'm well known as a fervent Arizona Cardinals fan.

After years of well meaning jabs and jokes about being such it is no small wonder to not only see the end of such, but to see others who I knew were for the team but wouldn't admit it actually talk happily about the team.

Morever to see fervent Suns fans etc.show such interest in the team is so great its unbelievable.

But after years of only being able to show my team colors through a jacket(which I've worn constantly even during the warmer winter days ) due to the company dress code and such.

A complete shocker!!!

Tomorrow everyone is encouraged to wear Cardinals apparel or at least red.

My assistant principal named it Cardinals day tomorrow. the regular principal is a Steelers fan. We haven't interacted much this week.

Our kids' school is UBER LAME. I'm actually going to complain. They wear uniforms, but tomorrow they can wear EITHER Cards' gear or Steelers' gear.

I'm actually pretty pissed about it. Stupid WOMAN principal. I doubt that would have had happened if it were a guy.

(Sorry, chicks of the board...but it's true--most women aren't as cool as we are)

My boss is letting me wear my jersey tomorrow!! There are several die-hard Steelers fans here, but the Cardinals are getting a lot of support on my floor. In fact, a co-worker(big Bears fan) wrote me an e-mail December of 2007(yes 2007) and said the Cardinals were going to win this Super Bowl. I hope he's right!
