Let me just put this out there: if there are any fans here who also happen to be friends with guys in the mafia, start inviting them over to watch games more often. I'm sure you've always been saying, "Frankie Falcone and I used to be such good friends. We really should invite them over for dinner sometime" and then you get caught up with work or whatever, and you don't do it. Or you say to your wife, lying in bed just before you go to sleep, "I think I'm gonna email Li'l Tony and see how he's doing (you call him Li'l Tony because it's ironic cause he's sooo obese)" and then you just forget about it. Well, here is your opportunity. I say, invite some of your mob friends over, have a nice dinner, then watch the Suns game. Their style of play is so exciting, your mob friend will start to like the Suns, maybe put in a couple $1 million bets on the Suns here and there, and we have our first ticket to the NBA Finals.
I know what you're thinking: But that's dishonest! And, ordinarily, I don't condone cheating, but really, wouldn't it be nice, after 40 years, to say after a playoff game, just once, "Man, the refs really sucked today. They were so obviously favoring the Suns tonight..."
So, guys with connections, old family ties, or just an old college buddy that you have regrettably lost touch with, I say use this as an opportunity to rekindle a childhood friendship with that long lost mob boss.
