No one gave you guys a shot and you guys nearly got a Championship. Dont hang your heads guys. You guys took the Steelers to the limit and it was a really great game. One of the best Ive seen.

Props to you guys and Im looking forward to seeing you guys back in the swing of things next season.

Thanks for the words.

Strangely, I'm not as ledge-prone as I thought I'd be. But then again, I'm not sure I expected to ever be here as a fan.

Nice to hear good things from the outside.

Believe it or not, there have actually been many losses that disturbed me a lot more than this one does. Now, THAT should really tell you what it's been like to be a Cardinals fan since 1988.

Thanks. You can empathize with us, as this happened to you three years ago.

so many threads stating the same thing and I don't need to feed my ego by starting a fresh one

basically stating what i have a little already

you guys played a hell of a game and had a tremendous season - the finish was amazing to that game - the intensity and heart the team showed throughout the playoffs can't be anything but encouraging

looking forward to our games next year and the evolution of phoenix into a football town (even if the bandwagon fans were driving me crazy this past week or two ......... they'll learn though)

Stop it. You making it hard for me to hate you next season.

No more walrus (who was nice to us yesterday), No more alexander, and maybe no more Hasselbeck ?????

Come on. You going to make a push to no longer be my 2nd most hated team.

When the Steelers lost Super Bowl XXX it took me 5 years to get over it...

I didn't think it was going to hurt this much to watch my team lose in the Super Bowl since I've seen them have so many horrible seasons in the past. This really sucks. I really wanted to have something positive happen since I'm probably going to lose my job very soon.
I hope they re-sign everyone and we make another serious run next year.

I remember being royally pissed about that game. I was a little kid and was rooting hard for Neil ODonnell (sp?) and the Steelers (only because I have always hated the Cowpukes).

Steelers fan here - honestly, if we're not in it, I'd like to see you guys get one next year. It was a nice story and I really like Kurt Warner (I hope he's re-signed). It's a great story....

No offense, but I have gotta believe that if my team had already won four previous Super Bowls, it would make dropping the fifth one a little easier to swallow.

What makes this one so hard is because of our history. The Cardinals have lost more games than any other franchise in history. To be so close and have it slip through our hands is devastating. It's hard enough just to get there and many of us can only hope we'll get another chance. Sometimes you only get one shot. Just ask the Falcons.

Sometimes you can make the playoffs year after year and have some outstanding MVP caliber players and dominate the regular season, yet make the big game once thinking it's the first of many, yet you never make it back. Just ask the Chargers.

I'm a middle-aged person and it's entirely possible that the Cardinals could never be in the position to win the Super Bowl again in my lifetime. I hope that's not the case, and I don't think it will be, but I surely don't want to look back 30 years from now and remember how this game ended.

The way I feel now, I would be happy with just one Lombardi Trophy for the Cards before I die. Just one.

Well said,

Just like Yankee fans, if they haven't had a WS in 5 years they're devastated, the worlds ending, it's over etc etc etc.

They're supposed to win every time, all the time, other teams are just props to decorate their world.

Sigh.
