Cardinals | Four different QB options on the radar
Tue, 26 Jul 2011 13:36:09 -0700

The Arizona Cardinals, in their pursuit for a new starting quarterback, have had trade talks with the Denver Broncos about QB Kyle Orton and the Philadelphia Eagles about QB Kevin Kolb. They have also dipped into the free-agent market and are talking with the agents for free agent QBs Matt Hasselbeck (Seahawks) and Marc Bulger (Ravens). The Cardinals have Kolb and Orton rated closely and talent. Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt cautioned signing or trading for a quarterback on Tuesday, July 26, may be unlikely because of the complicated process needing more time.

More from KFFL:

Seahawks | Agree to terms with Tarvaris Jackson
Tue, 26 Jul 2011 13:42:44 -0700

The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to terms with free-agent QB Tarvaris Jackson.

FANTASY TIP: Not good news for Seahawks skills players. It looks like Seattle will bypass acquiring Kevin Kolb to have a QB competition between Jackson and Charlie Whitehurst. Neither of those QBs is worthy of fantasy attention on draft day unless your league is cavernous. Downgrade the value of Mike X. Williams to that of a No. 3 wideout, at best, and the sleeper values of Deon Butler and Golden Tate.

Vikings | Agree with 'Skins on terms of Donovan McNabb trade
Tue, 26 Jul 2011 15:24:23 -0700

The Washington Redskins and Minnesota Vikings have agreed on the parameters of a trade that would send QB Donovan McNabb to the Vikings. Working out the financial portion of restructuring McNabb's contract could be tricky, though.

FANTASY TIP: Where there is a will there is a way. Expect this deal to get done by the end of the week, and it makes sense for both parties. The Redskins are ready to wash their hands of the McNabb experiment, while the Vikes need a veteran passer to help teach Christian Ponder the ropes. The Vikings' receiving corps offers promise of fantasy success for McNabb if Sidney Rice returns. For now, consider McNabb a somewhat risky No. 2 with very mild potential for greater.

I'd be on the phone right now with the Bronco's and Ortons agent to finalize a deal.

W'ed get a steady qb who doesn't turn the ball over and obviously knows how to get the ball to his best receiver. See Brandon Marshall.

Let's get this done.

Matt Leinart will be the Seahawks starter this year.

Sweet.

Then hopefully, good or bad, we can stop hearing the INSANE opinions touted as fact all over this board.

Sometimes if you read this board you would swear Leinart was the best QB that never was.

Let's see if the guy, given his 3rd chance now, will actually do something more than sit on a Heisman trophy.
