Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but I just pulled up AZCardinals and Urban is saying that Boldin talked to Mike Jurecki today and said he would only consider staying with the Cardinals if he gets a new deal by this Tuesday. If no deal is reached by then, he once again wants out and be traded.

And the soap opera continues. Negotiating is one thing and I know things in the offseason get blown out of proportion, but I have to believe the Cards brass is getting sick of having to deal with this.

a freakin' deadline? that's just flat out ridiculous if true. it's a ploy to avoid gettin' assed-out when the cards resign everyone they need to sign and soak up all their cap space.

if they can work something out where boldin will **** for the next two years i'll absolve him of all blame and root for him to be the second best wr in the game. if they can't i hope they trade him to siberia. he's acting a lot like simeon at this point. and you know if he's traded he's going to trash the organization.

It was fun while it lasted.

At least he's giving the Cards a chance.

I'm a teacher and I want a raise by May for the fabulous job I've done this year. Oh, wait. I am getting laid off because the state is in a deficit. Oops. My bad.

I know teachers and NFL players don't work on the same plane, but damn. Really? C'mon. I am tired of hearing about unfairness showed to Q by the Cardinals organization. And, yes, my feelings stem from the economy. How could they not? Especially when I make $34K and spend nearly $2 of that on season tickets and gear?

Trade him.

This is nothing against Q, because I think he would be the #1 wide receiver on any team that does not have an opposite named Fitzgerald starting.

The Cardinals will most likely ignore him which will send him into orbit. Graves has his priorities and right now Q is not one of them.

I don't know why peeps are shocked, Boldin needs to make his money now, he will likely decline like many RB's by the age of 30. His style is too reminisant of a back pounded over and over again. Q needs to make his money, he isn't going to get Fitz money, so why not set a deadline?

It's nhard to believe that he is doing and saying things that in the past I would never expect. I admire so much about him. But I guess my stop has come, I'm off the Q train. I don't wish him bad, I just want to see this situation gone.

Obviously, such an idiotic demand has to be ignored...

Honestly I'd just as soon the whole thing be over with.

I'd like to forget about Boldin for one day.

It would be one thing if he was a free agent. He is not. That is the difference.
