What weenies you all are. Jeez.

Please, chill, and go back and read your posts, and that nothing of substance (NOTHING) prompted them.

Q could say screw the cards and i want out, and that still would not justify you wannabes spewing this childish "I'm taking my ball home" ********.

I will always honor the joy that he brought to me as a cardinal fan. NOT AS A ARIZONA CARDINAL FAN, but as a cardinal fan since 1974.

You're right. Demanding the impossible, demanding a new deal by Tuesday, shouldn't be construed in a negative light at all. It in no way is a ridiculous...oh wait...

Do you think Q woke up and read his "open to a long term deal with Arizona" quote he told some reporter in a moment of confusion and decided to add "by Tuesday" to both prove how silly his complaining has become (the thuds you hear behind you are fans and public perception jumping off of the q Bandwagon) and to somehow negate his potentially positive comment towards the team that wronged him. It has gotten past annoying and gotten to amusing.

Between Shaq throwing his hissy fit and this Tuesday deadline drama I feel a certain aurora of estrogen creeping over the Valley.

it's really time that people got over the whole agent thing. the ultimate responsibility lies with the player. every player has the option to pick and choose the agent they retain. by doing so they are explictly condoning and even encouraging the agent's actions, comments, and recommendations. drew is effective at what he does and that's why he's so successful. if you don't think he's successful you're just nuts. he doesn't care what the fans think, he cares what his client thinks. and really, as a player, that would be my second concern in hiring an agent. my first would be whether he can make, and keep, me rich. to heap the scorn on the agent is just deflecting your anger at the person to whom it should really be directed, the player. but you all love your players so you have to direct your venom somewhere and the agent is always a likely target. the first time i hear a player actually come forward and say, "my agent really screwed up and handled this improperly and i apologize" will be the first time i lay blame at the agent's feet.

The Cardinals will most likely ignore him which will send him into orbit. Graves has his priorities and right now Q is not one of them.

That's exactly what they did. Jurecki said that Graves told Boldins agent that they still want to redo his contract but that they had other priorities right now like signing Warner and working out a long term deal for Dansby.

I don't know what's so majical about Tuesday either. That almost seems like something childish.

I want a new contract and I want it now! Two weeks from now isn't good enough. I will be disrespected and turn down any offer received after Tuesday.

By the way Jurecki talked to Boldin and he was in New York getting ready to vacation in the Dominican Republic. He really seems like he needs that contract done by Tuesday.;)

I really think Rod Graves is handling the situation exactly as he should. For all the grief I've given him in the past, he is right on target in this matter.

IMO, AB and DR look foolish by somehow apparently trying to make their situation stronger by all these machinations. It is amusing to watch. It's sort of like watching a child acting up as long as it isn't yours.

Its the last day of the combine. When its over it will give the Cards a good 6 hours of negotiating time to get something done. He is doing us a favor by even giving us 6 hours.

Tuesday is a perfect day for him to be able to say "see I tried", but still force his way out.

Am I the only one that really doesn't care much about the Q drama right now? I mean, we've got SOOO much more to do, and I'm far more interested in a new Dansby deal, what happens with Smith, where Warner's number falls, FAs we are looking at and the draft.

At the end of the day, Q will either a) be playing for us with a new contract, or b) be playing for us under his old contract or c) be playing for someone else and we have draft picks in hand to add to the team's talent and depth.

I'll cheer for all of those scenarios, and if it is a or b, I'll cheer for Q like nothing ever happened when he hits the field. If it is c, the draft will be much more exciting.

But the field and business are two different things.
