The 6-game road trip continues for the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night when they take on the Atlanta Hawks in the fifth game of the trip. The Sixers will look to put a halt to a 3-game skid and get something to feel good about as time moves on in this final stretch.
As far as the injury report is concerned, let's just get the obvious ones out of the way. Joel Embiid (left knee injury management), Paul George (left groin injury management), Eric Gordon (right wrist surgery), and Jared McCain (left knee meniscus surgery) are, obviously, out as they are all done for the season.
Tyrese Maxey (lower back sprain/finger sprain) will remain out against the Hawks. He has not played since March 3 against the Portland Trail Blazers when he initially injured his back.
Andre Drummond (left toe sprain) and Kelly Oubre Jr. (right knee sprain) will also remain sidelined. Those two have missed the previous five games as they have not played since March 12 against the Toronto Raptors.
Adem Bona (left ankle sprain) will miss his fifth straight game while Lonnie Walker IV (concussion) is sidelined again. Walker returned from the concussion in Friday's loss to the San Antonio Spurs, but was ruled out for the rest of the game at halftime due to a minor headache. The Sixers are clearly going to remain cautious with him.
Kyle Lowry (right hip injury management) remains out. He has not played since Feb. 9 as the hip continues to bother him.
Tip off from State Farm Arena is set for 6 p.m. EDT on Sunday between the Sixers and the Hawks.
