The Philadelphia 76ers will continue their 6-game road trip on Friday when they head back to Texas to take on the San Antonio Spurs on Friday. It will be the fourth game of the trip as the road weary Sixers look to pick up a win.
As far as the injury report is concerned, both teams are pretty banged up, but the Sixers will be down a number of players. Just to get it out of the way, Joel Embiid (left knee injury management), Paul George (left groin injury management), Eric Gordon (right wrist surgery), and Jared McCain (left knee meniscus surgery) are out for this contest as those four are out for the season.
As for Tyrese Maxey (lower back sprain/finger sprain), he will remain sidelined. The All-Star guard has not played since March 3 against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Kelly Oubre Jr. (right knee sprain) and Andre Drummond (left toe sprain) are listed as out. Those two have missed the previous four games with their injuries.
Adem Bona (left ankle sprain) and Kyle Lowry (right hip injury management) will remain sidelined while Lonnie Walker IV (concussion) has been upgraded to probable.
Tip off between the Sixers and the Spurs is set for 8 p.m. EDT on Friday. Philadelphia will not have Maxey who scored 52 points in a double overtime win over the Spurs late in the 2023-24 season.
