I was told that the adminstrators on this board wouldn't mind if I shared a link so long as it was informative and worthwhile for your community. If you look at the thread titled 'Steelers Fans are Thinking About This Game' you'll notice that a link to my site was first presented by one of you guys. I commented saying that I had more info, but was reluctant to share because I assumed the admins didn't want that kind of stuff. Anyway, I was told it was cool because my content was relevant and not presented in a self-promoting way.

Ok, enough of that. I just didn't want you guys to think I was trolling around.

A reader of mine (an incredibly insightful Xs and Os kind of guy) has a lenghty great preview of the game. It includes tidbits on Leinart's last performance (he actually didn't think he looked as bad as claimed by most in the main stream media), Anquan Boldin, Rolle, and of course Whisenhunt. Check it out if you're so inclined:

Happy footballing this weekend guys and gals. I'm sure glad we have Tomlin, but I'm more than confident Whisenhunt and Grimm will have you guys in the playoffs in the very near future, perhaps even this year.

Nice article and accurate assessment of Cardinals... the only thing I don't agree is the "W" part at the end :)...

Cool, thanks

Yeah sorry for the double post of the link. Just thought I'd throw in on the main page of the forum in case nobody was intrigued by the title of 'Steelers Fans Thinking About this Game'. After all, why would y'all give a s__t what us Steelers fans are thinking? :)

In all seriousness though, we've been more concerned about this game than any of our first five games on our schedule. Including our game against 2-0 SF last week and next week's game against perenially solid Seattle. Something about this matchup and these circumstances makes us nervous.

thanks guys

Glad to see the typical message-board venom seems to be lacking around here. Good community you've got. I think more wins in the future should liven things up even more, so gl, and keep up the good work.

a periphery note:

I dont know why everyone in Pittsburgh seems to think the roof will be open

trust me -- it will be closed--

crowd noise will be a bigger advantage than an extra 10 degrees of temperature

Shocking, huh? It's why most of us stay on this site instead of other Cards boards.

That, and there are some very football-literate people here.

You might be suprised to hear that fans of the Rams, Seahawks, et al. still give this site a daily visit, just to check in on our TV, Everything Else and Politics and Religion forums. :)

Pittsburgh has not played well in Arizona overall.

Antrel Rolle, the 3 rd corner, is a bust as a no. 1 pick that should have been moved to safety his rookie year. If our WRs want to eat, it'll be there for them, even without Ward.
Can somebody please send a memo to the Cardinals? Everyone in the world can see it!

Very well-written piece and nice web site. Now that Anquan Boldin is probably out for this game, the W for the Steelers looks even more likely than the writer suggested.
