While I enjoyed watching Carson Palmer, I would take Kurt Warner over him, if given the choice. Yet, the numbers show that it is not as clear cut as I thought.

Check out these stats for their time with the Cardinals:

Warner
Games: 61
Yards: 15,843
TDs: 100
Rating: 91.9

Palmer
Games: 60
Yards: 16,782
TDs: 105
Rating: 91.1

I think Palmer played on more complete teams then Warner, but Warner had the better receivers

Both quarterbacks had their struggles when they first got to the Cardinals, but I feel when Warner was bad he was worse than the worse we saw from Palmer.

Both were pretty tough guys that stood in the pocket behind poor offensive lines, though I think Warner had it worse than Palmer when it came to line play.

Again, I would take Warner over Palmer, I would have rather had Warner in 2015 than Palmer, but that is not to say that Carson Palmer was not a great quarterback for the Cardinals during his time here. I am very surprised by the numbers above.

I would take Kurt also. I loved what CP3 did here, but KW could beat you in several ways and I think he was more mentally tough.

Interesting but you left off overall records? Closer than most would think. And yes Warner has superior receivers and a pretty damn good defenses if I recall correctly.

The difference isn't the numbers but the personality. Warner lived for the big game and was the ultimate clutch performer. Palmer was never a big game player but was great in the regular season.
