So I was looking at Hoopshype GM profiles. When I looked at BC, I found this gem:

Best Transaction:Traded two first-round picks and two-second round picks to Denver, Wesley Person and Tony Dumas to Cleaveland for Antonio McDyess from Denver on October 1, 1997.

Worst Transaction:Traded Stephon Marbury, Anfernee Hardaway and Cezary Trybanski to New York for Howard Eisley, Charlie Ward, Antonio McDyess, Maciej Lampe, the rights to Milos Vujanic, two first-round draft picks and cash on January 5 2004.

So first off, the Best and Worst transactions involve us recieving McDyess as the main piece.

Then the obvious deal with us getting screwed in the first deal, and the future the second one brought us.

I understand they just looked at both deals from a talent standpoint, at the given time. I still laughed for a couple minutes about it.

It is bizzare. How can someone leave out signing Luc Longley?

The McDyess deal does sound familiar - trading a bunch of players and draft picks for a guy with only a year left on his contract. Where have I heard this idea?

that's funny, but I absolutely guaranteed that any deal for Tracy McGrady is contingent on him signing an extension. The Phoenix Suns will not make that mistake again. Hopefully they will be wise enough not to repeat some of their other mistakes also.

Especially since the draft pick the Suns gave to the Bulls turned out to be Ron Artest.
