He looked better in preseason based on stats, but remember he's thrown more than twice as many passes in the NFL as Stanton, and has twice been handed a starting job and lost it.

At this point it's just we know Stanton sucks in this offense so might as well give Gabbert a chance but honestly at this point you go with the younger guy and hope you either catch lightning in a bottle, or you get a high enough pick to get a QBOTF

To be fair Gabbert has had a bazillion different coaches and coordinators as well hasn’t really had a chance to mature in ANY offense. I don’t care he looks light years better than Stanton who we all know sucks!

Dont complain about BA words, he knows the season is over, just trying to put the franchise in a better spot for draft day

I don't think I can watch Stanton as BA reportedly will stay with him against the Niners.

man... you know the season's gone down the tubes when the board is BEGGING for Blaine Gabbert.

Blaine?! His name is BLAINE?! That's not even a name. It's a kitchen appliance!

How do you feel about guys named Colin?

It seems like BA gets a visceral thrill torturing the fans with Stanton, Harold Goodwin, Amos Jones and James Bettcher. This is the worst coached talented team in the NFL. The Cardinals now have a -72 point differential. Given up 66 points in the last 6 quarters. Outscored 66-14.

Palmer broke his arm and BA says he's sticking with Stanton going forward. No reason to watch anymore.
Agreed. The cardinals just lost me for the rest of the season. I’m not certain why to watch any longer. Gabbert may be (slim chance, but still MAY be) QBOTF. Seeing what he has would give me reason to watch. Watching a horrible 30-something Stanton hand off to 30-something AP or throwing anywhere but to pedestrian WRs behind a terrible oline only to watch Amos’ squad do terrible things and then “get” to see our terrible defense? Literally the only reason I think I’d watch is for Fitz’s sunset.

Doesnt matter who will start

I m sure after some stanton debacle, gabbert will get his opportunity but we all know is far from being the answer

I hope they put some young guys out there to see what we have

Dawson should be cut, cause is also accountable for our poor starts

Dansby was great but actually is not that player anymore

let budda baker playing more snaps and riddick i start to think can play just ilb and has a long way to go be a decent starter

Gabbert will eventually start for us. The good news will be that Stanton won't be resigned in the off season.

I have just two things, wouldn't it be prudent for the team to find a third QB now that it is down to two? And second, is anyone out there interested is selling me a couple of good seats to the Giant game? I am going to be in Phoenix over Christmas and sucky team or not I plan on going to the game on Christmas Eve. If anyone is interested in parting with their seats, I need two, then PM me.

Not surprising. Stanton may very well beat the Nines but after that who knows. Gabbert will play at some point this year, most likely due to poor play and we will see he isn't the answer either.

Arians will not be fired at year end since Palmer is hurt and that is his get out of jail free card. Same coaching staff will return next year and insanity continues.

I really think BA will retire at the end of the season. He is already burnt out. He has health issues that will make the decision easier.

If it is Stanton the rest of the way, I believe Bruce is retiring at End of season. Want's to make sure his buddies get their paychecks cashed until the bitter end. If he had a good legacy this season could tarnish the living hell out of it.

My hope is that Bidwill can give the reins to Peyton Manning to run the whole show. Give him a piece of the ownership.

Except they all have contracts, so they get their paychecks either way.

what?! They've had YEARS of evaluating Stanton and we've ALL seen he CAN'T deliver moving anything ahead.

Come on WildBB... I'm surprised you think we don't know what Stanton gives us at this point. He's hot garbage.
Yeah I know what he brings. He can manage a game or two and deliver at least 1 W. I"ve said that pretty consistently. My point was that's not what this team needs at this point. We move on to Gabbert or on from him.
