Owings is a good prospect but is he better than Didi? Can he play another position? Does he have enough pop to play third? Prado has shown signs of snapping out of his funk and can play corner OF. The right side of our infield is set.

If A-Rod could make the switch from SS to 3B, I have to believe that so could Owings. Especially considering that he is still developing in the Minor Leagues.

But is he a better prospect than Davidson who has more pop. Davidson IS a third baseman and he has a higher OPS. Didn't Hill just sign a long contract? Where is Owings gonna play in the next 3 years?

Stanton is a pipe dream. The team that gets him IF he even becomes available is going to have to open the cupboards and let the Marlins choose their top 3 prospects + some lower level guys. Also Stanton is a free agent after next season and is going to get a $100 million contract.

The earlier scouting reports felt he would have to move to 2B because he didn't have the arm strength for SS. Mike Bell obviously disagrees, and thinks it's above average.

The problem with Owings is the same as it ever was, he won't take a walk and whiffs quite a bit. In last year's AZ Fall league, he literally had zero walks in 91 at bats. He only has 12 so far in 407 PAs this year for Reno to go with his 74 Ks.

Kennedy's ERA going back to last season is a little over 4.50, before 2011 his ERA was a little over 4.00. You take away his 2011 season and you have a back of the rotation SP. Scouts have always pegged Kennedy as a middle to back of the rotation guy. Also, Corbin began the season as the #5 SP and he may very well end up with 20 wins if this team starts to score some runs for him. If Kennedy could bring a big bat in a trade this year I would be all for it. If ARZ waits long enough Kennedy's value will continue to go down.

Where are you going to put this big bat? We're locked into Ross, Prado, Hill, Miggy, and Goldy. KT loves Parra, Didi, and Eaton too.

Everybody knows he has a bum arm. Teams are gonna test it first chance they get.
