The reports coming out of Dener are saying that Camby got a six year, $60 million deal like he wanted. Think about it - six years for a guy who has spent most of career on IR.

Last year I was stunned that the Wizzards gave Arenas a deal that pays him $9.3 million this season. Nash is a two time All Star while Arenas got the deal after only one good year.

Our problem is that it is very hard to get guys to move without overpaying. Last year Utah was very cautious about how much they would offer. They got some RFA guys to sign (Maggette and Terry) who were despirate to leave their teams, but when both deals were matched the Jazz ended up not signing anyone of note.

Offset, Gambo almost certainly talked about Tracy McGrady and Kobe Bryant come into play for the Phoenix Suns together. He talked about it like that was the Phoenix Suns plan. I know because I was listening to him on the radio. If you guys remember I even called in and corrected him on some of the salary cap issues.

i work in my car so i also hear them everyday. i never said he didn't talk about it. all i'm saying is people are acting like he just becouse we didn't get mcgrady and kobe that gambo is a liar. i just said they he never said that kobe and mcgrady were signed sealed and delivered, he just said that the suns were planning on making a run at both kobe and mcgrady.

People forget that the suns are under the cap and that the mavs are over. Of course they overpaid, but the only reason cuab didnt matchi is because of the luxory tax. He wouldve been paying over 120 mill for that hoser, nash. That said, I love nash and I think this is a great move by the suns. I dont care that we overpaid, the guy is a great pt guard and a stand up guy.

I should have thought of that. Cuban was negotiating with one arm tied behind his back. Whatever he pays for Nash, he pays DOUBLE what the Suns do.

So, Eric, Cuban was willing to pay in the neighborhood of 4 years 80 million for Nash. We got him for 5-6 years at 65 million. What a bargain!
